The Rose

***The Rose***

A temple is given so
full of life.
Like a delicate rose
in full bloom.

Beauty and love to
share with us all.
For one more
there is always room.

Through time life
has taken it's toll.
Eachday a little more
is taken away.

Weakening the temple
as it grows old.
Suddenly you find that
you're counting the days.

Yesterday's temple
once in full bloom
Somehow time has
slipped on by.

For the end of my days
are to arrive soon.
Just as the beauty of the rose
I too shall also wilt and die.

a lovely tribute to your father...

death and dying words for me
are some of the most difficult
to make sense of
even when feeling compelled to write it all down
i only manage gibberish at best

the rose is so beautiful
thanks for sharing it with us
