A LOVE LETTER TO MOMMY

Dear mommy don't you still love me?

I know I'm only six years old, and I know I make you mad at me,

but I'm sorry I don't know how to tie my shoe yet.

I try to be good.

I'm sorry I still can't spell my name.

I understand you don't have time to sit with me and teach me.

I know you have to be with your friends and I don't come first.

Mommy do you still love me?

Yesterday I got in trouble in school because I didn't turn my homework in,
but mommy I didn't tell them you didn't help me because you went to a party
with your friends and you left me home with the neighbors eleven year old.

Mommy I'm sorry daddy left us.

I know you don't like him anymore.

I'm sorry I remind you of him.

Mommy, I love you.

Do you still love me?

Mommy remember when I cut my foot and you told me to go get a band-aid if it hurts?

Well... Mommy I'm hurting so bad on the inside how do I put a band-aid there?

Please mommy tell me you still love me....

Today we had a substitute and mommy I don't know where she came from.

I don't even know if I was dreaming or if it really happened.

Mrs. A taught us some cool things from the Bible.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that hate you and do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Jesus said these things.

Mommy, I don't know if you love me, but I love you soooooo much and I'm going to pray for you....
