I love the various beliefs that Have so many different aspects Like a mosaic design made with The finest of jewels to delve into And explore, to meditate and learn To sift and become enlightened
I'm sad for those rigid enough To ignore Creator's awesome works Not realizing that He is the author Of each and every one of our theisms Since it is his desire to save us all Sadly too many misread God's true call
Most agree He is Creator of all things Then they readily deny that statement By picking and choosing their own Version of what they believe is right Leaving out whole segments of society Replacing God as judge of all creation
There is only one criteria that matters Evil is anti-God so if that is your practice It's outside of the theisms that are sanctioned It is Creator's choice how to deal with it We can avoid evil, we can't destroy it Only God can give and take His own Creation
We who seek more knowledge will get it But we who have wisdom will know already That knowing how to handle knowledge Is the most important lesson to learn Too many have knowledge without wisdom They operate outside of God's will
Those who do so, have caused all the chaos Throughout the universe in the name of God People who have Creator's spirit do not fear They know in whom they place their trust Are steadfast and able to accept all beliefs Knowing God is the AUTHOR and FINISHER of our Faith...
Your theology is my theology. This is wonderfully written. But too many people in their own "holy huddle" churches (mine included) turn up their noses not only at other religions, but other Christian denominations. Thank you for this offering, Eileen.
All religions breathe under the same sky, as we. On the sorrowing Earth, it is the unresting thorn, the bitter brew, the harsh wind off the sea, the old and the new dawn. With a challenging, collective strategy, we shall remake the soul of our time and impart our spiritual wisdoms. And I think there is room for more than one Author/Goddess/God. I am a follower of polytheism.

We have been given the choice and it is up to each of us to decide what we will believe in. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior in Him I place all my trust with the Father and Holy Spirit, one God in three divine persons.

Yes, I firmly believe our Lord Jesus Christ is our Risen Saviour, and the only way to the Father !

I have always loved the image of Christ/God as author and perfector of our faith. it is as if our faith is always imperfect, but when we reach for God we are met by God who completes our effort and reconciles and restores us to our full glory in the presence of the Creator. I, too, believe God honors our quest, our reaching through darkness to find what faith we can. a wise and wonderful spiritual poem! Dawn
