I believe people should have a right and choice to make up their own minds about what creed or way to follow in life, which is best tailored to their individual needs and wants Eileen
I also believe if you are worried about losing friends, because you had the courage of your own convictions to post them here in the Den, or anywhere else for that matter, then if your so called friends ditch or shun you because of that, you are much better of without them, for they are Job's Comforters and fair weather friends !
We are best of without them for sure, they only drag us down to their level if we appease and accomodate them !

Humans have an uncanny way, if given enough time, to manage to mess most things up beyond an easy fix. We've had lots of time to totally screw up earth.
I've got enough to tend to on my own plate to spend time worrying about somebody else's mannerisms and how they came about them.
There's been many a life given and taken, so that we have the freedom to choose or not to choose our religion/religious preferences.
I just know that I'm grateful and thankful each and every day that I wake up in between the shorelines of the USA, and how I choose and to whom I choose to forward my words of praise to, is my own choice. And I'd die myself to make sure Me/You/or anyone else, continues having that right.
So Eileen, carry on with your life as you see fit and brush off the fall-out from those that want to flake themselves onto your shoulders.
Your a beautiful and caring person, and I don't see where anyone has the right to question you.
I think we should have the grace to let us each find our own zone...

There are certain people who need to take a long vacation back to the heaven-on-earth of the USSR, I imagine THAT was utopia for those certain people. Horse feathers and bull crap. Not you. You know that.
A beautiful write on spirituality. We emerged from the dark and disappear into the dark; from dust to dust as divine books told us. Where we go from here is made clear to us by the holy books. Judgment Day is approaching with a fast pace and we better be prepared before time came to stand before God for judgment. If some people believe they will be recycled in the form of fuel and nothing else shall happen to them, then it is up to their belief and choice though it is our duty to tell them that something more than that shall happen to them. But no one should be forced to take your belief and see things the way you see them. Forced spirituality is forbidden in all religions including Islam. Thanks Eileen and God bless you queen.
I agree with you 100% Eileen. Our beliefs are personal and we should never allow anyone else to change them for us. Some have lofty dreams about what the hereafter might be and some believe that like the rose, we wither at the stem when we pass on and our only remaining usefulness is to feed the earth. Still some believe in a galactic experience and others believe that our spirit immediately enters another being. Whatever it is that we believe, I hope that each one of us has found a place for them in our daily lives. Nice work, Eileen!
