I try to view things with simplicity
So I personalize certain events
Then I ponder all possibilites
Try to find what makes most sense
We can't expect perfect solutions
No one thing can satisfy everyone
The best way I find conclusions
Is to be honest with my reaction

If someone had wantonly destroyed
Most of my family and my possessions
Then swore to destroy all I held dear
I would seek answers and ask questions
Then defend myself with all my power
There's no other recourse if attacked
Unless you are willing to be devoured
Allowing the enemy to come back

There is never an easy answer in life
To retain the freedoms that we cherish
Our world is always  in a cycle of strife
If it didn't give birth we would perish
The struggle is always for what is best
The decision deep withn our chest
Open our mind to truth that is within
Don't let ignorance be what wins

This is why we must have armed forces
This is why most people join the military
No one is assured what will be their course
They know they may give all for their country
All of our brave military deserve our prayers
They  serve us well throughout  the many ranks
We should always let them know we care
They have earned our honor, praise and thanks !
