Keep wearing the green. It is sad that you once went into a family with good in-laws but not as good spouse. A somali proverb goes: If your spouse lets you down, i-laws' goodness wo'nt help you.
Yes, sorry about your troubled history with such a mercurial character, as the Irish often can be, but you can't help but love 'em... Their charm often outweighs their cheek! And all the Irish I have ever met have more than an abundance of GRACE actually... especially in extended families. Honour it well, Eileen! And like you, I reckon I am a mix of all the hot-blooded races to some extent... Both my paternal grandmother and my brother have a "blue spot" between their eyebrows which is apparently a tell-tale sign of mixed race genealogy. Blimey... wish I was in America. Can't say I notice much Paddy-ism here in the Celtic West Country of England... K xx
