My dear Eileen, you have captured one of the gifts I enjoy nine months out of the year--the scent of blooming roses wafting on the wind.
My poem A Walk In My Garden begins "O, come stroll in my beauty, sniff the fragrance of my air."
I have about seventy rose bushes (I think I got carried away). I plant them and God makes them grow. Some of them have a scent that is delicious: Melody Parfume' is one. The French use its blooms in their perfume. God gives it to me free: An "unseen gift from Creator."
We should cherish the millions of unseen and visible gifts that surround us every second in our lives. The scent of roses is one of those gifts and a lovely one. Thank you for sharing this beauty.
Have a great weekend Eileen.

Ok Tiggs, but for me the best scent to float through a room are Freesia's, my beautiful G/F in the early 80's before you were born, just loved that scent, dare say she still does, so go get some right now and you'll love me forever....
Congratulations Eileen ... you took this form and really ran with it, crossing the finish line with a perfect example of AmeriKu! Thank You for honouring my new form with such beautiful verse. Hope you will write some more of these.
