Poem Artwork

My last night in Mendocino

...

The night was liquid velvet
the stars like diamonds shone
my mind at peace and pondering
as I sat there all alone

Outside the cabin on a chair
I felt connected to all things
no need to fear if all  is shared
with forest sounds my heart sings

Everything around me is alive
and it needs me, to feel it
a rush of  emotion makes me tingle
we were created to intermingle

Thankfully my spirit is alive and well
I pray for those whose spirits lie dormant
They miss Creator's point of view
They miss the opportunity to renew

Excellence in soul-stirring and spirit re-newing and re-freshing, Eileen. Your vision stayed on God can penetrate the darkest night of the mind or the flesh. Tactile poetry that tastes exquisite! TY Kate xx

Eileen, many times when we are alone...we have time to meditate upon the creations of the world and enjoy them. It's also a time we can give thanks and pray for those whose spirit is dormant and they can't capture His creations and love. This is an exceptional inspiring poem.

This is as refreshing as you say you are. We sometimes need to cleanse ourselves and what better way than as you have done. Sorry your adventure came to an end, but it can be sustained and remembered for months to come.

Everyday we all greet the world with the same opportunity to renew. I want to continue taking advantage of what this gift is to me...to grow with the new and put my mistakes behind me. Outstanding reminder of just how fortuante we all are and equally.
love,
Susan

also, Mason , my grandson, is a little better after another pediatrician(on call) found out his doctor had him on throat medication and nothing for gatrointestinal and parasite meds. I wonder how much that error cost my son, not to mention little Mason's ability to get better.
Guess that's why they call it, "Practicing medicine."

Love,
Susan
