Heavenly father we may never know why or what happened to the bridge that collapsed resulting in such a tragedy,but we know the bridge between you and humanity,will never be severed,and so we turn to you in this hour of sadness and need for all the people involved,the deaths and injuries, the loved ones that will mourn, also the officials that must be wise enough to make decisions and repair damages...
We entrust all of these matters into your loving hands dear Lord, asking for solace and calm since the ability to act with balance and harmony at such a time is very difficult,but with your aid those involved can do what must be done, while keeping in mind that You are there when things go terribly wrong , waiting to give love and comfort Thank you for all you do for us and for hearing and answering our pleas! Amen!
Amen, Eileen, and thank you for expressing the words that I was at a loss to say. This tragedy reminds me so much of the Silver Bridge collapse in Ohio, years ago. The situation was very similar. 50-100 cars on the bridge, the rumbling, etc. May God's grace bring comfort to everyone affected. Tragedies are happening far too often, these days.

A most heartfelt prayer for those who went down with the bridge. A tragedy to say the least. I used to live in North Mankato and have traveled that bridge many times to the airport and the Mall of America. Very unsettling to watch........

wish I could span the distance
with my hands, so it never
happened. They are in my prayers.
Beautifully compassionate, many prayers are being sent skyward. I don't like bridges...never have, this doesn't help.
