Poem Artwork

I have been forced to realize that I
am a lot like the wind. I have many of
the same characteristics...

I wonder if the wind knows how destructive
it can be when at its worst,or how beneficial
at its best...

When I love, it can be like a whirlwind, I am
overpowering, I don't mean to be, but my intense
nature especially if aroused, can't help it...

Mostly I am a benevolent trade wind, that allows
one to set their sails and travel safely...

My love can be like a zephyr that caresses and
commingles to produce beautiful sensations and
wonderful creations...

It can be like a volcano that erupts with the touch
of, one who knows the meaning of passion, and how to ignite all of the senses...

Like a pleasant cooling breeze after a still summer
day, I can play around you, with gentleness, and cause your heart to flutter in unison with mine...

In times when I am least active, I can bring you
down like a calm, cozy, covering, wrapping you in a womb of nurturing wonder...

Though I'm as varied as the wind, and not always
predictable, as one would like,I'm loyal, loving, and always there,in one form or another...

whoo000sh...

I like this "breezy" self metaphor you put in verse. And "who knows which way the wind blows..." I also see you are constantly recreating your Front Page. That poem posted below the graphic alone would be words to live by.... I should visit more often (especially at this Christmas time)
blessings of abundance... michael

How the spirit moves you, and the wind its companion, all twisted into one very sensual being, a beautiful and airy metaphor into your inner most being, and your outer most dance. The picture is perfect with it. Bless You! Jasmin Horst

Hear the whisper, feel the power of the wind in your airy words, Eileen. A StormSpinner type of write, wish I'd penned this. Song choice perfect. :) As is this poem.

Bloody masterful. Not gunna say a sexist joke. As in truth this is the human condition, and how boring life would be if we were all bland and faultless.
Yeah nature is temperamental, which makes it so awesome and magnificent, just as the best of us are.

Tahoe's Chinook Waldron taming the spiritual senses on this Sabbath. It's a nice relief from the Brickfielder, Australia's wind, Sahara's Harmattan, California's Santa Ana, Israel's Sharav wind, Germany's foehn wind and France's mistral. For the instinctually wise woman, she notices the wind. Recognizing the different winds reminds one of women's unpunctuated lives - lives that have no breaks in intervals. One needs to recognize battering winds from the kind winds that blow simple pleasures and bathes one in scents of coconut and spice. Kansas says it best with this song Dust in the Wind -"All we are is dust in the wind"....your quill does float on the wings of loyalty, Eileen.

Love,
Sage
