The beauty that arose out of the mist
took my breath away, I was taken
by surprise at the vivid colors of the
scene before me as the sun splashed
over all making it look surreal like
photo's in a picture book...

In the midst of the meadow a brook 
water looking so pristine you could
drink it, some birds were,   as what
looked like pixies danced among the
trees and profuse wildflowers...

A blue bird with redbreast trilling a
lovely song  hovered over my shoulder
just as a  white winged horse sauntered
up from behind me,and nuzzled my hair
I slowly turned my head to be able to see...

Enthralled and overwhelmed, by the beauty
I firmly reached up to touch it behind me
whispering as I did so, it gave a gentle whinny
nudging me again as if I were to get  ready
I knew we'd travel together  for eternity...

I sighed in unison with the serenity I'd found
Thanked all of the spirits making chant sounds
Horse knew it was  time  to stomp  ground
all the rhythms of nature began to resound
I hopped on  my partner, we were celestial bound
