I touched the air that you breathe
and my body thrilled to the thought
I whispered to the night "behold
what magic have you wrought"

Enchanted by the stars that shone
pointing  to where you were
I allowed my mind to take flight
knowing what had to occur

Glorious supernal solar flares
Blazed across the skies
My heart was racing madly
with your vision in my eyes

The zodiak was scintillating light
like different colored gems
I felt  I was in an exciting  dream
or  caught in one of your poems

The lights emblazoned lit a trail
I knew that soon we'd meet
I felt the stirring  of your soul
as in my heart you beat
