Poem Artwork

On a pale green planet
My love waits in the
splendour of pinkening
twilight...

Waterfalls of misty
blue, cascade to the
sounds of singing
cockatoo's

I am preparing my flight
as I spread my flamingo
wings in joyous
delight...

The scent of jasmine and
honeysuckle, invades my
senses, and I make no
pretense of my desire
which is on fire.

I soar into the gentle wind
gliding on the thermals of
anticipation...

I am refreshed by the spray
of salt water off the sage sea
of scherzo...

I descend to my dearest , just as
the light wanes, on the moors of
our lovely peaceful planet arcane...
