Being that we are all writers,and love books, I thought the staying power of this book, would give us something to think about;-)

I see the planets spinning and the one
called earth,chosen by God to announce
His Sons birth 

He chose a young jewish virgin girl in which
to implant His seed by His spoken word,a miracle that throughout all time in all the universe would
be heard

Over two thousand years, the book, called
the Bible composed of 66 different books*
written by many observers, and believers,
is still being used, as the vehicle that imparts
the greatest story ever told,that never grows old

In this book Creator used His Holy Spirit to
inspire all who wrote it,and the religions of the
world were formed, the most controversial being
Christianity which announced Messiah had come
and was called Jesus Christ

Through two thousands years as the story
continued to be told,faith based religions grew,
in different denominations,until today, and are
still growing, with belief that born to us the
baby Jesus "Emanuel," meaning "Christ with us"
is celebrated  as Christmas

Though many today have decided religion and
the churches,are not for them,because too many
have distorted what Jesus truly preached. Still
they believe in Him and observe in their own way.

Perhaps this reminder will inspire us to think of
what Christmas truly is about,and to honor it as
the Holy day that Christians believe it is. !f you
don't observe it, whatever you believe, you can
still give it the respect it deserves...

* New Testament written circa AD 45... 27 books
three books, Gospel of Thomas, the Epistle of Barnabas and the Epistle to the Laodiceans. called the Apocrapha not included in protestant bible,are in Roman Catholic Bible,along with seven other books,  Tobit,Judith ! and 2 Maccabees, Wisdom Sirach, Baruch which make the total 76 as compared to the protestants  66 books.
