I am devastated, in the deep darkness of despair in the ebony echoes of Erebus

I have given up on, and abandoned humanity, it is despicable and darker than the hell I'm in

It has reached the putrification level, and the stench of its ignorance is overwhelming

The masses of the deceived ones refuse to open their eyes, and have made living among them impossible

Soon they will dry up and waste away like the cere desert that they deserve

From the black hole of hell I see a spark of light the size of a match and I reach toward it out of habit

It envelopes me in a cocoon of compassionate comfort that carries me to the wondrous womb of creation

I am deposited at the feet of wisdom, and wished I hadn't reached for that spark, I knew I was in for a correction

Wisdom tells me I cannot forsake humanity, for I am humanity, and I must go back and deal with it.

I am humbled...

These are thought-inciting and sobering thoughts indeed, Eileen. Love and peace to you,

to forgive the most decrepid of humanity is a far greater service than prayer...for each of us is within every other...humbling indeed :)

we will be long gone before humanity evolves into an enlightened race, if at all, so just look ahead to brighter horizons after cleaning the dust from your weary thoughts ...

Eileen,
It's been well said in the reviews before this...the sense of questioning is powerful, the feelings mature, wise and frustrated because we know there are better paths to take than the ones we're on...and yet we're inescapably linked, we're part.

Fine work.

Strong visuals, strong vision... stirring emotion, galvanising will and purpose. This "seeing" is very compelling, Eileen. The mood and tone you write in convey this sense of compulsion and urgency very well. It's convincing, too: especially the fact that it is almost "despite ourselves" and in the process of feeling humbled that such conviction comes about. Thanks for sharing. Yes, we are part of the whole... xx

despite the disgust we feel for our fellow man at times, the compassion and love come charging back at warp speed -- and we know we must intercede to sop the waste and disolussionment they are suffering under -- even the self inflicted mental stagnation that reaps helpless souls -- we are endowed with the love of our creator and cannot abandon our kind -- peace and love Eileen - this is a powerful statement my dear friend -- Jon Michael

With this write you are the spark that many of us will reach for out of habit. It is always the right thing to do.
