Like George,I've been ill,but not in the hospital.I'm doing better, hope George is too, someone let me know please! Thank you!

I took a walk in the meadow
keeping my thoughts  in  a row
got stung by a bee while picking a flower
then suddenly it started to shower
I ran for shelter under a huge oak tree
the rain soft, warm, and gentle on me
it stopped as quickly as it had started
I was only damp when I departed

Leaving the shelter of the oak
came upon a frog listened to it croak
much to my dismay and delight
the frog became a handsome knight
he sat upon a stallion of black
whisked me up onto its back
off we galloped towards the sun
to a playground full of fun

On the way we passed an outpost
where my knight turned into a ghost
then the  horse became a ship at sea
where a pirate had hold of me
so confused I became hysterical
the pirate began to sing quite lyrical
he said as we sailed the seven seas
he would do all he could to please

I relaxed for he was quite handsome
his words seemed to have some wisdom
just when I thought it would be alright
I awoke in the forest in darkest night
I heard wolves howling nearby
and thought "I'm too young to die"
I could hear myself begin to scream
I never woke up from this dream~

The frog did;-)

etw~

A wonderful write, as Jude mentions, the dreamscape can definitely seed more imagination. Like the transmutation of images and characters in this.

your dreamscape excites the imagination ... the wolves are the fear of being consumed by an outside force ... perhaps death itself ... we keep alive by not waking from the dream within us ... as far the frog - seems like it needs a kiss ;)

Those howlin wolves won't harm you, Sis. And very glad to hear you're feeling better. The Den has not been the same without you and old Brother Edvard around. Hopefully, he's on the mend, too.

Such a dream mixing fantasy with deep secrets of the soul culminating into a dream in order to act out without acting out. Glad to hear you are feeling better. No, sadly I have not heard any news of Georg, only what he wrote on his sight and I pray for him too...

Be always safe,
Karen

A delightful journey through imagination and fantasy, some of life's best moments are exactly that...the frog prince and damsel...but then the twist and turn into darker kingdoms...but you are coming out of illness and it's not unexpected.
Be well, Eileen.

Eileen, it is so good to know you are doing better my dear friend. Your mystical dream world stretches the imagination and lauds the deeds of the frog/prince. May peace, joy and love be yours in bountiful supply. Jon Michael
