This started out as a poem but Country Generations, a 10 piece group from N.S. saw it and thought they would like to turn it into a country song for their CD

I can see it in your face, 
I can feel it in the air.
I can hear the sounds of silence, 
I know it's everywhere.
So darling look me in the face, 
and tell me we that we're through.
Tell me honestly, be truthful,
I  know that's hard for you.


 We vowed to be together, 
Through all the good and bad.
We promised to be truthful,
 Even if it made us sad.
Today our lives have changed, 
You've torn us both apart. 
You cheated and you lied from, 
Deep inside your cold, cold heart.


Don't let me see the coldness, 
The chill that's in the air.
 Don't hide yourself in silence, 
Cause to us that isn't fair.
We vowed to be together,
We joined as man and wife.
We promised to always love,
Each other through our life.
