Lonely Tears

It’s an easy peaceful understanding,
Between two that can be at times demanding,
Often no concern of the other’s heart,
And soon a friendship has to part.

Creating an atmosphere with attitude,
Soon forgotten with little gratitude,
A relationship once full of affection,
Left in lonely tears caused from rejection.

Only one choose to compromise,
While the other prefer to minimise,
That love, that peaceful understanding,
That ended when all became too demanding.

Hearts with words that once inspire,
Leaves an empty soul with no desire,
No concern for the other’s heart,
Now true loves been torn apart.

What once was, won’t be again,
For only broken hearts remain,
Another concern, for another day,
For true loves left and gone astray.

No matter how hard one try’s,
They are left with lonely tears they cry,
No concern for the other’s heart,
Now two true loves are torn apart.
