I hope you don't get upset but I started to write this and it ended up in three parts so the next two days you will get the rest as it is too long to expect you to read all at once. A loving child with a good home and great parents follow the wrong side of the tracks. It's not always the way thet are raised.
Thank you for your time in reading.

My Little Runaway (Part 1)

At the young age of fifteen years,
She slipped into the night,
Not a note was ever found,
Nothing seemed to be right.

No angry words were spoken,
Only love did they ever share,
Two loving folks with their child,
Now left to shed lost tears.

Where could she have gone,
Rumours said she had gone wild,
To the streets she turned tricks,
This innocent, loving child.

They searched the streets,
But now they lived in fear,
The loss of their dear child,
They lived each day with fear.

They say she was a runaway,
But that must be a lie,
For one so loved as this child,
Would make them question why.

The years went quickly by,
They heard she had a child,
That she had married and settled,
If only for awhile.

She found a man who loved her,
Forgave her for her life,
Loved her and their child,
He took her as his wife.

You describe the separation and loss perfectly.
The fractures here rarely result in happy endings.
Waiting for your twist on this.

As Mr Ed said it is a sad story but one based all too much on reality as hundreds of young kids do go missing each year, some out of rebellion, some out of fear or abuse, some lured into prostitution and others raped and murdered. Looking forward to the next two episodes Rose to seee how your story plays itself out.

A sad story for any parent, and one that happens quite frequently.

Beautiful Morning To You Rose, and this poem is a lovely, yet heart breaking, then mending....write :)
It is destructive & grief strickening that a teen feels the need to "runaway"...their reasons may not be realistic, yet sometimes they are in a very serious need of physical/mental/emotional safety nets. Prostitution (thats why I say destructive)unfortunately disgusts me to no end that a man will pay for a little girl. (she wants love & food) It's appauling these little girls feel so devalued that they will do this to survive. Love is the only resolve to torment. Love & Patience.
I Look Forward To The Rest :)
Much Love & Happiness To You

Rose, sometimes, no matter how good the parents are and the upbringing the tree will insist on grow askew.

There is a lesson for us all in this wonderful poem that no matter how we have sinned if we but repent the Lord will forgive us.

What most parents dread, yet more and more a reality it has become. You do live in fear and agonize every tick of the clock. Even when there are other children to care for the heartache for the one never goes away. All that remains on your mind is, "Is my child okay"" There are no words to describe the torment, heartache and fear that one lives through when faced with a situation such as this. You have described it well....

Be always safe,
Karen
