Dreams Can Come True

I had a dream that things come to past,
The New Year has now begun,
As the old one to the side we cast.

I dreamt of happy faces, no tears to shed,
All  the good things to come,
Of the living and the dead.

I walked through a forest alone,
So richly deep, bright and green,
Where the animals had a healthy home

I saw a child’s innocent face,
The birth of a little babe,
That set my heart in a race.

I felt a raindrop fall in a mist,
The warmth of your lips,
While upon my face you placed a kiss..

I saw you laying next to me there,
With your arms outreached,

To show me how you truly care.

I felt my heart beat strong and free,
Knowing there would always be,
You and me through eternity.

I glanced through the past one day at a time,
Looked forward into the future,
To see what was in store for 2009.

An abundance of love and understanding,
Everyone helping in so many ways,
That seemed so demanding.

A wonderful dream, we can make come true ,
Anything is possible in the future,
If we BELIEVE in all that we can do.
