Not everyone thinks of life as a miracle but I see them everyday as Angels enter into our lives. The love of our Grandchildren when we have lost a love in our lives, a gift from another, a friendly voice when we are sad or lonely. A reason to believe.

The Miracles Through Life
April 14, 2009
Written by: Rose Marie Rideout

Life is often mysterious,
We don’t always understand,
Why burdens can load us down,
Put our heart & soul in demand.

There’s a parcel awaiting us,
Gifts from another land,
Sent to us from an Angel,
Placed by love within our hand.

A phone call from a close one,
Surely brightens up our day,
For heartbreak had just passed by,
A lost loved one made us cry.

A smile from a stranger,
A hug from a grandchild at play,
Another miracle have found us,
To help us along the way.

Angels are all around us,
Each sent in a different form,
A parcel, a phone call, a child,
We know we’re never left alone.

Faith & love go hand in hand,
Miracles through life we share,
For Angels enter our lives daily,
Because they really care.

Another beautiful write sis. Miracles certainly do happen everyday of our lives, that I know as a fact and I am so thankful they do exist. Without these miracles we could not survive, the smile from a friend, a hug from a grandchild, the love from a spouse, yes, all miracles indeed. Thank you sis for sharing.

Love you darlin,
Selena

Such caring words and the realization that miracles do happen everyday because God is always with us. How well you express yourself in these lines though I detect a bit of reflective sadness too....

Be always safe,
Karen

You are so right. Many a time while feeling low or worried someone, family or friend, would call or be there when you call. The way you string words together catches my heart and soul. Awesome as usual. Liz

Oh sweet Rose... this poem is perfect, because this morning I received some gifts from "angels" in my life that were unexpected...yet...they calmed my spirit...I fight depression all the time...and I mean "fight" it...so I tend to keep very busy...too busy at times...always praying or checking on others, sort of like...doing things that no one ever thinks that perhaps I could use...People tend to think I have everything...and of course I do...GOD is everything to me... so when a little kindness, a gift, a sweet thoughtful word is passed along to me... it tends to multiply in my heart and mind... so... this poem reminded me that many of us must feel the same...and we must value those angels who touch us throughout our lives... how blessed we are Rose...that we can appreciate them... :-)) thank you for this lovely reminder.. hugs, lindalaw
