Is It Just Another Song

Just words put together in a song,
Words that steal my heart away.
Whenever I listen to the words,
I can't help but go back another day.

I think of the day we first met,
And how we fell in love for real.
I knew at my first glance,
It was true love that I did feel.

We took each day as a magical day,
Soulmates we were from the start.
We knew what we had found was real,
We felt it deep within our heart.

Today many years later together,
Our children have all grown and gone.
Makes me cry as I remember when,
They were home where they once belonged.

I remember you were so shy,
But I will change that in a short time.
As we grew in love together,
I became your's and you were mine.

Now as we are old and gray,
We still have that magical love we share.
I'll  cry when I think of our precious love,
With all we shared because we care.
