The Devil went to Bed

It came with a flash,
the sound was deafening.
Felt like a whip-lash,
I didn't expect anything.

After the light subsided,
and the sound funneled out.
I felt much better,
now wondering what it is all about.

It seams the light came from God,
and the sound from Hell.
The Devil and God collided,
does this ring any bell?

I know the light won over,
and the Devil went to bed.
There's one thing I am going to do,
that's to stay good instead.

The devil went to bed,
he's just asleep, NOT dead.
Hallelujah for the Lord,
for us he has bled.

Now you have to be quiet,
and you have to stay good.
Or you'll wake that devil
and he'll lower his hood.

When his eye's met yours,
the stare will eat your soul.
You better bow in shame,
let god take control.

Sing to the lord, that all will be well.
Or your gonna end up in that living hell.
God will hear you sing, sing real load.
God will send a flash, the devil will explode.
