Submerge into Ecstasy

Poem Artwork

When he went to town
It’s was the funniest thing you’ve ever seen
He bounced up and down
Like a nervous Kangaroo on a trampoline

On the way back
He became calm so relaxed felt just right
Black as tarmac
Was the package hiding nicely out of sight

Sitting in his chair
Beaming big eyes he laid his prize on the table
Smiling with no care
Knowing he could devour the contents and was able

A cool breeze blows over his goose bump skin
Wanting to submerge into ecstasy
He opens the bag takes a breath and looks within
Two poppadoms and a chicken curry
