Painted black, eight feel tall, sharp spears atop each one greets all; it now stands guard around a home in Bangor down the street from the courthouse dome.
There was no need to guard this fortress until Fame came knocking at its door; but now the figure behind these gates surveys his guarded home and writes still more.
