His name is Tom who moves among
The shadows this stormy night
As lightening breaks darkened sky
            In half
            In part
            Apart
He purrs while rubbing chair and sofa legs
Creeping forward as if stalking prey
While looking at me with devilish eyes
            Apart
            In part
            In half
I flinch with each new crack of thunder
As he continues his rounds
And calls this house his own
            In part
            Apart
            In half

Reminds me of the orange outside tom cat I call Nicoli who cons me for food and under-neck scratching and belly rubs... enjoyed much!

Enjoyed this write, I am an animal lover, I have a house dog, her name is Boomer, amazing...how much a part of a family that one of these little guys can become!
