It's all about that essence we all have, but so few can express.

Poem Artwork

The moon sweeps into the night sky.
Silhouette of freedom’s best expression.
The vision in my mind’s eye is of you.
Graceful strides with the surge unleashed.

Images strike out from an intriguing heart.
Respect at that which is still unknown.
Where does the wild breeze take you?
Galloping away to each new discovery.

How your auburn mane flows with the breath of life.
Each magnificent mile yields so many places yet to go.
Do not allow yourself to be tamed by conventional means.
For your art splashes color from a paintbrush tail.

Such is the promise your essence speaks to us.
No bridles, reins, or saddles to break.
The wide expanse of life’s potential gifts.
Flow to dance among your dream’s creations.

Eyes wide to seek out answers from afar.
Deserve to see truth without conditions.
The range is yours to master or evade.
I envy the quest that is to roam.

Run with the fire from the flames of your soul.
Dash with the purest desire of your heart.
Cut with the precision of your skilled body.
Rear up with the audacity of your questioning mind.

So now when thoughts often turn to you.
Wild horses bolt across the plains of future memories.
Hooves beat thundering to drums of your pursuit.
No lasso will ever find its way around your neck.

Run, boldly run, covering mesa, butte and desert alike.
Across canyons, borders, and divisions so many of us harbor.
The time is yours and close now upon your horizon.
Spirit takes flight on wings extended for life’s breeze.
