you are thick
with attraction,
the pull that
is acting
like magnets
keeps stacking
itself
in my head..
or my gut
or my heart,
no, it's lust, and a part
of being around
someone who is
like you..
lucky me blues..
the view that is subject
to me
in your person
is subtley sneaking in
fantasy versions
that make themselves known
by the shift in my hue
as I turn bright red,
thus,
those lucky me blues...
but it's fun talking to you
and working beside you
and so I
am lucky
to know you,
I'll get through
this unexpected distraction
that is you,
and I'll be just fine
with my
lucky me blues...
(how about you?)

Lust is recognized for what it is (or is it something more?) and conveyed well in this piece. I also like the question at the end. Well done!

Rose....this made me smile real big...that last line is a masterstroke...it adds a completely different meaning....a somewhat coy question that leads one to wonder...if the object of the authors lust says the right thing, will she submit?
