*thank you, tinka, for the inspiration to claim my own words to express my own feelings, on that subject.
dreams can be the first inspiration to reality....pleasant dreams....aml..k
I don't want to let them go
Those dreams of faery tales
Whisked away enchantedly
Throw caution to the billowed sails
To drift out on the oceans
To ride the ardent tides
Heaved there upon the shores of which
Our love peacefully resides
Close the world, that rails beyond
Sheltered in your heart
Tightly held within your arms
Loves safety to impart
I don't want to feel the pain of which
Reality instills
I want to purge and vomit
The pasts of bitter pills
So...Dream with me, my dearest love
For such as these, we are
And carry me away with you
To some bright and brilliant star
Let not, the sun set ne'er to soon
Without your warm embrace
Side by side, hands tightly clasped
A future we may face
Lead me, Oh my heart of hearts
Eternally entwined
Create with me a world inwhich
The two of us may find
Grant me this, as age besets
Forever undisguised
That once we wake, fulfilled to see
Those dreams were realised
