love fall gentle on my heart
like first snowflakes of winter
caress petals of the last rose
fall quietly ‘til you cover me
in a drifted blanket of purity
until my faults are hidden
beneath perfection’s beauty
and the bard discovers me
worthy of poetic remembrance
in black footprints of his ink
on tip toe like an evergreen
to welcome the softest kiss
let me silently glisten ‘neath
sacred deluge of virgin white
for the star guiding me home

I don't know why I didn't get the music on this one, tried refreshing and all that usually works.
But these words seem fine on their own.

I saw your tracks on the snow going where that star was calling to, and your words, "...on tip toe like an evergreen to welcome the softest kiss..." told more about yourself and your heart than we will ever know.
