An Enchanted Celtic Christmas Tale
The End
By La Belle Rouge
Then she spied from the corner of her eye
A most distinctive and charming elf so small.
Dressed in red , his cute face made her sigh
Obviously not a true Irish leprechaun at all !
He had snowy hair and gold rimmed glasses
With candy canes on his hat and by his side.
Delightful he’d be to see by lads and lassies
And she laughed at him until she almost cried
He spotted her behind a fat, tall juniper tree
“Merry Christmas Fair Princess,“ he called.
“So far you are on St. Nicks nice list I see”
“Be careful or into the naughty list you’ll fall.”
He called to a reindeer and quickly jumped on
And with the wink of an eye the elf was gone.

With Santa being so small, best check your drainpipes as well as your chimney this year, dear Belle! Puts me in the mood for some Irish magic... Baileys might do it :) Nice to be among the festive folk this season, bless you. xx
