Mary and Joseph journeyed to Bethlehem
where she gave birth to the Savior of Men
there among the beasts that holy night
was born to us the everlasting light
beautiful boy baby, meek and mild
Lion of Judah but once a little child
Lamb of God in a lowly manger laid
in midnight hours his visitors prayed
angels and shepherds came to see
the savior promised from eternity
star shone bright announcing his birth
Emmanuel had arrived on the earth
known as Lord but once he was a child
with infant cries and a dimpled smile
though he owned the whole world
no palace he claimed
holy gift from God
Jesus was his name
Wonderful poem fulled with hope for all and love that goes eternally.
