As we anticipate the arrival of our first grandchild, we can't help but wonder what she will be like.

Everything Nice 10/27/2016 Mendy Thompson Dear Baby Girl… We had all lost hope that you would ever appear Time passed Things did not go as planned For your mom and dad… They stopped trying Then on September 12, 2016 They requested a Facetime session And we connected to talk… A few minutes into our chat Your mom asks your dad to “show them the Pictures we took today” The next thing we are viewing Is an ultrasound…we are confused We tilt our heads back and forth Like a dog who hears “eat” or “out” But it only takes seconds for us to realize That our world just changed forever And so, as we await The arrival of our sugar and spice We have dreams of what you will be How you will look, what you will like and dislike We know that you have a family Who loves you beyond measure We cannot wait to see your Beautiful face To smell your sweet baby scent To hold your tiny, warm body To watch you grow And to love you with all our hearts ♥
