ready to die

The spilling of the blood that you’re seeing

The hole that escapes the bleeding

The time was coming and you know it

The red sea of cells has made you a believer

You knew it was going to happen

 Your nothing but yesterday’s news

All your friends have stepped out

Even your mom can believe you’re on the way out

You’re pitiful

You’re messed up

You pissed me off

You committed your last breath

Walking against me was you’re last road

Your methods have corrupted you

I have felt the need to correct you

Life can’t have the two of us

Pain is setting in

Still in shock

Now another

I can’t wait till you see the other

I am so mad

Your last breath is almost there

I pull it out and rip up with a tear

Look at me

I did this to you

 Never forget

Yeah me

Your brother

You screwed up didn’t you

I am still not even

Ground is getting closer

Now you’re ready to close your eyes

Watch the beams of light

Feel the air grow stale

Your spirit is leaving you

Exhale

This sounds like a fight between life and death, and death wins.
I saw this fight in real life - my son's last breaths.
A beautiful write, but tragic.

Blessings,
Kathy

This reminds me of the Cain and Abel battle. I liked your description of blood as "The red sea of cells ". A dark write of delighted fury, from the depths of Poe perhaps?
