Bad pain day today. :(

Poem Artwork

People say they know the pain that I'm in.
Tell me who's been living under my skin.
People tell me that I just need to pray.
I would, but I don't know the words to say.
People do not know the tears that I cry.
The pain's so bad, sometime I want to die.
People tell me I need to get some rest.
I can't sleep more than two hours at best.
People say it's in my head anyhow.
Oh, you're the expert I need to see now?

Karla, Wonderful write, and I understand where you are coming from to a degree. I have Fibromyalgia, constant pain, chronic pain. And most doctors still think it is in my head. LOL They give me a headache by not understanding. I am not very comfortable with doctors.

I agree that you can't understand or totally feel the pain and suffering as we aren't inside the other person but encouragement is what can be offered in hopes you find that cure is what is offered here

Dear Karla, your courage and inner strength shine through this poem!
I hope you find a doctor, medication, healer or something that can alleviate your suffering.

All the best to you, Karla. I can give you the address of a great healer in Houston, TX. He probably can help you or at least alleviate your pain. He doesn't take money. I hope your good wishes come true. Franz

I can not say I know the pain you are going through, but I was told it was all in my head until I find a doctor that started listening
God Bless

Great last line. My Mom always says no one knows the pain she is in with her rheumatoid arthritis, and I believe her, because it looks so painful for her to even walk. I believe you are right, no one can understand many kinds of pains unless they have experienced it themselves, like shingles, which I have had twice, so I can relate. Before they found out what was wrong with my heart, I felt like certain people I knew thought I was making it up, but I figured forget them, and now they see what I meant all along. I think many can relate to this moving write.

Pain is NOT in your head, I know that of late dear young lady, I truly hope something can be done...although, unlike all the ones with all the answers, I have no idea as to how...Peace, or as best you can, Ed & Rufuz

Exceptional write, Poet. Karla, you are so right as no one could ever begin to understand what another person is feeling inside or not. And, the Doctors are so worried about being sued and are no longer concerned about a patient well-being, and now they just recommend pain management. Don’t you just love the phrase? Don’t answer that question because I know what I tell my Doctor every time I visit him but I cannot repeat it here. You’re a survivor and will hopefully conquer this awful dilemma soon my friend. I wish you well.

"You Can't Understand", the poem, is a realistic composition... A true poetic gradiose.

Suffering of any kind is painful. I wish I could remove the cause of pain from all huamans, and living beings.

The best you can do Karla is stay within your own knowledge, and forget what others say.Although most of us just want to help, I know it can be a pain just listening to it all when you already have more than enough pain. Just ask your spirit to pray for you, and I'll join in too, and don't worry about praying;-)My thoughts are with you and I send healing vibes your way...(((((hugs)))))))

Really, I do understand what you are going through. Pain visits me regularly. What gets me is pain brings its sidekicks like arthritis, migraines, bursitis, and a few other pals(LOL) Some days are like that...

Hang in there,
Hugs

Karla it always seems some people think they know much more than they possibly could. This was a very honest and thought provoking write.

(((Karla)))

I am sorry you are having a bad pain day. I wish I could take your suffering away and stomp it firmly into the ground! I get so frustrated when people try to help, and they don't know what in the hell they are talking about or know what you are experiencing!!

I could feel the anguish and frustration as I read this heartwrenching write! God be with you; you are in my prayers!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :( >tears <
