Turning up dead could be a real bummer, but as a "deadhead" most of my life, I have found that death is not the end, nor is it the beginning, it just is...ED

You hit it right on, Karla. That writers block when we feel all is not well or everything has run its course. But we all get delivered don't we! Great write!

I am often amazed at the mastership of your pen. This write is exceptional in its expression of dark emotions.
A poet is to dig deep into inner knowledge regaining the light hiding underndeath the darkness and then give birth to the other side of this write :-) This is my challenge to you that I know you are capable of :-)
Its great when we allow for the dark thoughts because it helps us to explore the light thoughts even better, bringing about a balance :-)
A poet is supposed to write about it as you have done,
and I thank God you're alive to do it , with such passion
and honest emotions. We are all feeling this Karla, all sides
and I hope we can unite in that aspect of it that we all are
caring compassionate poets, tht want serentity and justice so
we can write our dreams.

I understand this far more than you know. When my demons come I just remember the words of The Lord's prayer the part about deliver us from evil. Yes the demons are as real as angels. Extremely good write.
Glad you are okay; but this poem is quite deep, dark, and depressing! Much emotion conveyed here; brilliant spark of writing from your golden pen! May your pen never run dry; this is spectacular writing! Keep up the great work! BRAVA!
