i sit here
awakened from sleep
with words running
around in my mind
a beehive of words
buzzing in my brain
i sit here
in my living room
or at the library
at their computer
(i don't have my own)
and write them down
i sit here
try to get them to
sound *just right*
& just let the words
flow from my mind
down to my fingers
i sit here
and soon another
poem or story or
article has been born
i thank God for His
Gift that allows me
to create & write
i sit here
and read all of your

whether good or bad
you are honest in
your critiques...& i
