... Death stalks the Plains of my imagination; red boxes of fear keep me awake at night with bad dreams; a harbinger of things to come or expressions of a phobia of storms? maybe a therapist could figure this out. Is it premonition or am I going c r a z y??? somebody help me -- should I write about it or shut up, live with it like people tell me I should do? Grow up, and stop being a baby... "Can't do anything about the weather, so why worry about it?" "When your time comes, it comes." All I know is, I hate living like this. These bad dreams, the awful fear that terrorizes my nights, screams me awake has ruined my life. It's getting worse with every passing year. With the approach of severe weather season, don't know what to do anymore --
I have found...to write about our pain and fear...make it much better to handle once you read it and discover that it was not as bad as you thought it would be living it!!
Just my experience in dealing with MY STUPID LIFE!!
Awesome take here...I like the feeling of the honest chatter...Outloud nerves have you tangled and you express it well!
Enjoyed!
Love and Peace~

P.S. The way and time, the hour of our death has been so prearranged...all the worries in the world would nor could never, ever, alter its course...Relax! :)
POWERFUL and so articulate... my pulse and heart are in MY throat and it's like I feel something of what you talk about, though I have never, of course, personally experienced either this fear or the potency of it. Agree wholeheartedly with Eileen if this is for real, Darlin. Got to get it up and out of the system and within your control. Talk and pray - both are releasing and effective... to friends and councillors... even more so to God! :)) Love and prayers, Kate xx

You know we all have our fears, but we also has the one who can alleviate those fears, our Lord Jesus, I think no less of you for writing this, in fact, it takes a great strength to write about your fears.
God Bless

YOu make great poemade out of your lemonfear Karla! How terrible it is to have such fears. When we can't deal with them ourselves even with Creator's aid it's time to seek professional help. There are times even when our faith is strong, that we need outside help. Don't hesitate Karla. I'll keep you in prayer and hope you find the advice you need. Also do keep writing about it that always helps to keep from bottling it up. Love and prayers to you and lots of cheer to keep your spirits flowing!Eileen
A huge hug for you, sweet Karla. Talk to someone about it, hon. I'm sure there is help out there. Make some calls -- you have to start somewhere, and just by doing that, you will feel you are finally taking action and facing it.
Much love and concern,
CJ
It's just a pity that we can only control the scripts and location of our daydreams. Wouldn't it be marvelous if we could do the same in the cinema of our twilight hours?
I empathise with you Karla. I experience similar dreams with each passing year. Is it possible to pray for a cerebral Cecil B de Mile to fill our bedtime screens with technicolour epics instead?
Dear sweet Karla if this is a true write than I do advise you to seek help for if it is affecting you that much then you are indeed suffering and perhaps with help you can overcome it. You have a talent for writing that would be a shame for us to lose because of untreated heath problems.
Karla! You poor Dear. We all live with one extreme of fear or the other. There are times when the medications we're on brings out emotions
(fear) more. Where I am it's tornadoes and hurricanes. I won't say live with it since that's redundant but I will say enjoy the times you have to the fullest and don't let fear rule your life.

Thank you for sharing.
Good write and I believe one should share in some manner. Perhaps if not here but therapists sounds good also. However, to a certain degree fears help us to stay safe, and then they say fear is from the devil. That is about all I have concerning fear, although to a certain extent I believe the aforementioned is true. As a believer I do think the devil plays such a major role in sneaking into every crevice he can to upset a person. The devil is under our feet and we must all remember that!
The best thing to do is ignore those who say hurtful things to you, and write about it. It is good therapy! Hang in there; summer will be here soon enough (and then we will be wishing for cold weather; it always happens!). Very vivid account of your fears; I feel your fear, and you make the reader do so, too. ('Course, it doesn't help living in Tornado Alley--with NO basements; not a good way to alleviate your terror!). Very well done, Karla; brava! One of your best!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin sister, Karen Lynn. :D
I hope this only relates to a poem, a well written one, and not a report of some personal happening in the author's personal life.

Karla, I believe most people experience fears that torment them and of which they have no control over. I know I do! I keep reciting the serenity prayer, and sometimes it can create some balance even if it doesn't make the dreams and/or fears go way.
i'm not normally overly afraid of storms but when i was on the hep c medication i developed a total freaked out fear of tornados and it scared me, how scared i was. i can relate
Just my experience in dealing with MY STUPID LIFE!!
