Another spill: the third in three weeks.

... Feet not in sync with legs
not in sync with nerves that
warn, "There's a step ahead."
Down I go.  Another
fall, flat on my face.  I'm
okay, other than bruised
knees and pride.  Tired of
losing my balance; been
worse, lately.  The V.A.
says there's nothing wrong, but
I wonder if there is
not something wrong with them.
Not like I enjoy this ....

Karla I am sorry your going through this. I hope your feeling better. I fall often I know the pain I hope you find out what is wrong. I fall because my muscles are weak. Lupus has affected my muscles it took me a few years of not knowing what was wrong then I found out what was wrong with me. I pray you find out what is going on hope you feel better and get some rest.
Sending positive thoughts your way.
Hugs Angela

Hope you are feeling better, and healing okay. It seems that these things happen in seasons for me, if I fall once, I will fall twice in the same week, and if I fall twice, you can count on another accident soon. When the madness finally ends, I usually have a year or two before it starts over again...I don't know, they say nothing wrong with me, other than just being in to big of a hurry! I don't know? Hope you're okay!
Blessings,
Joyce B.

Girl, it will seemed to easy to say from so far away, but we are Veterans, another breed, more resilient, with a pain threshold higher than most; when we are wounded we keep looking forward, our enemy isn't inside the wound it is waiting over there, pain is just a discomfort trying to distract us.
One doesn't feel pain when one isn't alone.
You aren't alone.
Semper Fi!!!

Karla I am sorry to hear you are going through this, I had the same problem the doctor gave me AFO's which have been a God send, if a bit cumbersome, my prayers are with you and Karen

Bless you Karla! You should demand to see a specialist and have tests done for why you're losing your balance. There are too many causes to list for it, and that's why you need tests. I learned first hand when i fell a while back, that diabetics lose their co-ordination, and I can't miss my meds that deal with it. Please don't let the doctors bully you Karla you have a right to insist on tests. 3 falls are too many without a reason.

Dear Karla,, I pray you are doing better. Perhaps you are overtired , nervous, sterssed out , ect from unpacking , the storms , ect.. All this can play a part in a persons well being and attitudes and daily life functions.. I have been trying to be in a more positive frame of mind and it has helped ! I try to look for something good , and try to make something positive out of something negative. Right now its working for me.. Good luck.....Love,M

Karla Dear, you've got to pursue this and see another doctor somehow.
You are too precious to us to have you keep falling and getting hurt.
I'll be praying that God shows you the way to go about it.

Love,
Connie

Sometimes we lose our equilibrium (my word for the day!) when we have an ear infection. Alot of times you can have one and not know it. I hope there is nothing seriously wrong Karla. You need to see a private Dr. who specializes in neurology. Keep us posted!

GO, GO, GO FOR many other oppinions, don't be left stranded. It took an ex flame to seek oppinions of many, before they realised she has FMA..

Karla, I experience the same thing you do, so I know what it's like to kiss tera firma without passion. I take one med that is 'spose to help butk...it doesn't.

I have developed a few things that I do to help eliminate the possibility of falling, if you're interested just send me an email. Trust me, I know your pain/frustration.

Peace,
Dan

I've done the same, though I do agree with everybody--get another opinion, at least one. Call a doctor for this type of thing and maybe volunteer to babysit for him (his kids) if he'll see you without charging a fee. Why not? All he can say is no. Don't be afraid of the word 'no'. Wishing you better soon...

This is not good news dear Karla. My wife and I have been using a product called "Go Ruby Go", it has been helping us a great deal. A real powerful blend of fruit and herb and nutrients in a once a day powder drink. Look it up on the internet and see what you think. Blessings ...

Sorry sister, losing balance without stepping on anything or walking on stairs ore slippery roads could be extremely dangerous if not fatal. Please do take more tests to know the cause of these probems. Your brother and friend, Abdi-Noor

Karla, glad you are okay, but I'm wondering are they doing the right tests on you. I do believe, if this continues, I would seek another doctors opinion. Concerned!!!

I agree with Chanti, get a second opinion. Losing your balance and falling could be a symptom of many diseases, or you could have an imbalance in your middle ear....just trying to help. Hope you'll be o.k.
