one girl's white (the part you see)
one girl's black (the part you don't)
i am a white caucasian female
but feel connected to blackness
and don't understand why

bein' put on diets at the age of 12
made to feel ashamed of myself
and don't understand why

one girl's disabled (the part you see)
one girl's not (the part you don't)
strugglin' to accept that i can't do
all of the things i once could
and don't understand why

fraternal twins not identical
look and you will see differences
only then will you understand *me*
