They are by the thousands, bite inn and spited out after they served their purpose, and forgotten by all GOP's like being a Veteran was an insult to the Nation for not had fall in action.
Why not a permanent Golden Corral? after all we have "used" two trillions in Iraq, its not like we have not money for the returning soldiers, doesn't?

We dont have a Golden Corral here anymore, otherwise I would go and eat to support our troops, but I will be praying for all our Veterans, you sll inspire me

Amen to that Karla! Our Veterans deserve so much more than a simple thank you! Our freedom and that of the free world has depended on our military heroes. Thank you for serving in our military! Hooray for Karla!

Yeah, but at least they are doing something worthwhile - even if it's on a designated day. But, I agree - we should thank them every day!

I praise those who served our country. I think a lot of them are true heros. But to turn the Golden Corral into a soup kitchen just because you are a vetran is silly. It would also bankrupt the chain.

It is an honor well deserved; after all, they gave their all for our country; why not reward them with a free meal and our thanks? It's all we can do!
