The Poet in trouble is our own Abdi-Noor Mohamed, a man of honor, a man of peace. Received a message in my inbox (from another Poet) that Abdi-Noor's family is still in Somalia, while Abdi-Noor is in Sweden, seeking asylum. Let's all keep Abdi-Noor and his family in prayer, that the necessary paperwork will go through, that he and his family will be reunited.
Prayer can move mountains, why can't it move paperwork and red tape?
Judged by the color of one's pen, a
Poet in trouble, one far from his
family. He is safe, but not his wife
and children, left behind in a war-
torn land. Should they have to live
apart from the peace in his pen?
A loving father's heart breaks: his
family is not near. What can we do
to rewrite the page of prejudice and
fear, letting this Poet be reunited
with his loved ones? Can we do
anything? I say yes: pray. Pray ...
Got access to internet only today as library is closed on Sundays... You words carry whispers of hope and peace. thanks dear sister, Fatma and Maria already know you. Hope they will one day meet you in person.
I surely will pray and if enough people pray for his family to be reunited with him it should be answered by a loving God. The circle of life goes on like another author says and writes about and we need to stick together no mater waht the nationality. Lots more people need help and knowing about it and praying about it is the right thing to do. My prayers go out to Abdi-noor. Hope is the best thing, and faith is better.

I don't know of the man or his family but I'll definitely pray for them. Thank you for writing this Karla. Prayers are answered and miracles do happen.
