Got in one one time. Got about 20 feet in the air. Told the pilot, 'Put it back.' When asked why, my response was, 'There is way too much air under me and the ground.' Haven't been in one, since. LOL

between.
Life is like that much of the time; inbetween. In the balloon you know you gotta come down sometime; but in life one could stay in that inbetween or "purgatory" state indefinitely.
That remainds me of the first parachute jump from five thousand feet from a rackety-rack two motor DC-3 by day, then there were all those jumps by night! have you jumped anywhere in pitch dark? gimme a balloon any day! well, not any more, gimme a parachute any day...or night.
This is a good poem,I used to went up on a balloon ride and it was an amazing experience.I went on it last summer. At first I was a little bit nervous, but once I was up in the air and see views of the city skyline and Central Park,it was priceless. The balloon didn't have any hot air.It was made out of heilum.I enjoy the ride.I'm sure you enjoy it even though you was scared which is understandable.Take good care of yourself
