I have often thought the same, especially these days. And what an adventure it would be. The closest I've come is hot-air ballooning, but wings would be much better!
Your sky sounds so exciting. Our sky here seems to be blue most of the time (for the past week that is!) Last week it was also stunning and I was at the beach every day. I love to find shapes in the clouds especially right before a storm. They are so cool!

I will say this about Texas: as much as I don't like it here, I do love her skies, stormy or otherwise (except for hot or funnels! LOL)!
