Never heard anybody of being a "deeper shade of chicken" and that description should be side by side with 1967 Procul Harum's "A whiter shade of pale" our Nam favorite at the time!
Girl...you know how to push the buttons of remembrance just with a couple of words.

PS, once you get that storm by the tail...whachagonnado?
You go sis! Chase that tornado right out of Texas. A very well written experience of what it is like to be in a storm. I am fortunate that I live in an area that that hurricanes can't reach. But I do empathize with any victims of natural storms such as huricanes, tornados, earthquakes, mudslides, avalanches, forest fires and much more. Thank you for sharing your fears and your excitement.
May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie.
Karla,
What a wonderful way to make an analysis of storms!! Like everything else, it can be good or evil, depending upon the effects it causes. I love wild weather and often feel guilty for loving the fierceness of a storm that may have taken someone's home or loved one. wonderful poem!!
Maybe you can create poetry while watching that tor bouncing down the road? Boy, talk about inspiration at its best! LOL Grab that beast by the tail and hang on for the ride of your life! (But please come back; don't want you goin' to Oz! LOL) Delightful write and piccy, StormSpinner; you've found your callin'! Well done; brava!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin (and reluctant chase partner!), Karen Lynn. :D
THIS IS GREAT WORK THAT TELLS OF YOUR LOVE FOR STORMS...IN SPITE OF THE OTHER NATURAL FEELINGS THAT LIVE WITHIN. GOOD WRITE. THANKS FOR SHARING AND BLESSINGS. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
