i turn on the radar
afraid of what i'll see
but i have to know if

listen to the forecast

hear the distant thunder
see lightning brightly flash

i look out at the clouds
afraid of what they'll do

from all of nature's clues

there's hail and heavy rain

under this fear i'll drown

the warning sirens screeeeaammmm
sending chills up my spine
i've got to find shelter
before i'm out of time

tremble at the thunder
shaking the very ground
oh, God...what is that noise
what's that rumbling sound???

hiding in the basement (in TEXSAS??)
closets come in handy
it comes to facing storms
i'm a namby-pamby

i'm tired of hiding
from every little storm
tell me i'm not crazy
tell me this is the norm

any storm, large or small
brings out the fear in me
please try to understand
storm phobe's life ain't easy

this is a perfect description of me...BIG TIME.
ask anyone...even though i fear what i'll see or
hear, i've got to know what the weather is doing
every second...the weather channel's on; the
weather radio's on; i'm a-lookin' out the wind-
ow. i wanna be prepared, even though what
they might say sends me into a pure T panic!
