what's wrong with me
i can't seem to get
inspired

lately everything
i try to write
doesn't work

few verses here
don't like what i wrote
i erase

start over again
that's not it, either
shit damn hell

i love to write
but cannot seem to
i'm angry

because i'm stuck
no i'm not stuck
my mind is

my brain is stuck
jammed with a million
different thoughts

and words bouncing
like scattershot but
none stands out

demanding attention
demanding to be heard
overload

i hate getting stuck
getting frustrated
and annoyed

have i lost my gift
God i hope not
inspire me
--------------------------------------------------------------
sorry for the language...i'm just so angry and frustrated...didn't know what else to say...

If I try to write, or make myself write, well forget it, it will be useless. I just let it come to me. That's what you should do. Just my opinion....

Lost it.. not a chance sweetie. We all hit that wall from time to time. Breath.. ok? It'll come. The Creator I believe in wouldn
t give a gift then yank it away. Our whole world is in such turmoil now hun.. And you are such a gentle soul. I know it's all affecting you. Perhaps its not that you can't think of anything to wwrite about.. Perhaps the problem is more that there is too much going on in your thoughts to seperate out what to write about. be kind to yourself, breath. And just let your thoughts flow when they will. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{ HUGS }}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Karla, this is like I've never seen you write before. Perhaps this struggle is bringing out your gift in different ways.

(((((karla))))) i am so sorry you are struggling with your writing! no, you have NOT lost your Gift from God, and if you think you have, you have NOT! it's the devil trying to dissuade you from your writing; but you can't give in to him! you are MUCH better than that, and if you don't think anyone doesn't have faith in you, well, I DO, and so does everyone here at authorsden! we love your writes (good OR bad; you speak your mind so well!), and we think you are DA BOMB here! you are a terrific authoress, and you should be published in a THOUSAND books! you are better than a lot of people, and we love reading your new stuff you post here every day (or just ABOUT every day!)! karla, don't EVER give up hope, and don't let Satan bring you down! you are MUCH better than he will EVER be, and please don't ever give up on God or think he's taken your Gift away, because He HASN'T! and he will NEVER give up on YOU, no matter what you go through in life! please don't be so sad; you know how hurt i am when i see you hurting! i love you with all my heart, and if i could take away some of the hurt or pain, believe you me, i WOULD in a NEW YORK minute! you are most definitely in my prayers and thoughts! with MUCH love, your twin, karen lynn. Once you have the gift, Karla...you do not lose it. It is merely a temporary blockage due to the lack of inspiration in that brief time period. You will find more than enough soon that you will not be able to keep up with your ideas and thoughts. You will more than make up for it so do not worry the least. Just wait and you will see...I have faith in you. :) Your amigo in California
