Love has come and missed me
If no one loves me, who will
I'm so lonely, o! so lonely!
Sequestered, I feel lasting chills

Love has come and missed me
I'm a doll, I'm fragile as glass
Heart shattered, scattered in debris
As once more by love I am passed

Love has come and missed me
I will have to create my own
Rising out of my misery
Who loves me? Me--and me, alone

Well done Karla! Comment: I do not approve of public criticisms or using the review boxes for running dialogue. I will review and comment any time I choose and find the hauteur exhibited by one member here appalling.

Karla, Nevine has told me not to "interfere" with HER book, but I feel I will comment on your work and Karen's any time and way I choose, unless you personally tell me not to. She may think she is a queen, but she doesn't rule me and hopefully not you.

Karla, this is a great poem...first you have to love yourself than everything else falls into place when it's supposed to.

Karla it doesn't get any better than you've already written it, please don't change it and be true to your own voice and style.

Bloody fantastic!!!!!

I stand up and cheer you lady for your wisdom and courage,it is not easy to know or accept the hard truth of life, the facts of life....
but in fact
that truth is
that
until one can love oneself
how can any other love them ?
It all strats with ourself.Inside us,one's own heart.Love is there.
Your love shines through
and I for one
LOVE who I see there in YOUR poetry and YOUR words...
excuse my aussie slang but
when
I write
'Bloody fantastic!"
it is 'The Tops'
in my book NO BETTER THAN THAT.
Ten out of ten to you.
HugS from
kay.
