Firstly....
this is an excellent witty poem.
2nd...I was married to an identical twin,I hated how his mum always compared them with each other,I swore not to do that if I had twins.
I became the mother of twins,only mine are not
identical..(a boy and girl!28 now) however,even so
I understand how horrid yet wonderful life is for twins,
having to always share everything is the down side ('specially
if it's a birthday cake)and always having everyone compare one with the other must be hard for identical twins.The great part
for twins is always having a little mate with you (to hug)that's 'the blessing'...I think it must be hard being an identical twin,you two ladies do it beautifully,you are an example for twins to follow.

Oh Karla (& karen), how I wish I had a twin, then I could blame him for all the nasty things I did as a kid, LOL!! It sounds so loving for the both of you. I really liked this one expecially how u transposed the"twins sniwt" wording, had to look twice the first time, thought u made a mistake. (You make a mistake? Never!!) What an adorable write! In my younger grades I knew some twins that drove the teachers nuts......they were never sure which twin was sitting at the desk :-)

It takes two, double mint gum, two mints in one. I've heard these
phrases when referring to twins. Very good write. :0)
