Dog is man's best friend

DOG, when spelled backwards, is GOD

What better tribute?

This haiku, "Dog," is my 700th poem.  :-)

I dedicate it, with all my love and thanks, to two of my
most valued friends, Ed Matlack, and his sidekick, Wonder
Dog, Rufuz *WooF*.

Okay, Karla, I don't like dogs THAT much, but they rate right up there with cats anyway. LOL. Great tribute!

Too late dear Karla,
Rufuz has passed judgement,
But feel free not to lament,
As rufuz has a short memory,
Kinda like his dad, but not from drugs,
Or maybe it was, as he gets a contact high & demands hugs...

So let your gaurd down,
Rufuz will not be around,
Your way too soon,
He can however be found,
Enjoying his days in NJ,
Now that the snow on the ground,
Has gone away, no more mounds...
